Through her blog, she weaves perspectives from mental health, love, spirituality, self help, and so much more in a poetic flow. Each piece flows like verses from her heart, transforming cultivated knowledge into universal truths that speak to the soul. Her words dance between vulnerability and wisdom, creating spaces where healing meets hope and where stories become sanctuary for those navigating life’s complexities.

Jordan Alexis holds a Master’s in Educational Psychology from the University of North Texas, where she previously earned her undergraduate psychology degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her journey as both scholar and storyteller allows her to bridge the gap between clinical understanding and lived experience, offering readers both insight and inspiration wrapped in poetic prose.

She extends her storytelling into the culinary world through Anthology Kitchen, crafting narratives through flavors. Anthology Kitchen is a fusion of her culture, heritage, and travels – a place where her West African roots intertwine with influences from England, Spain, and Mexico. Her Southern upbringing and Caribbean journeys have enriched her culinary pen, creating a space where storytelling, history, culture, and recipes come together in harmony through both written word and catered experiences.

“Unclothed,” her first book of poems, emerged from confronting impossible standards of perfection. Through experiences of love, loss, and heartbreak Jordan stripped away pretense to find authentic happiness and purpose. She grew and gained such a new perspective on life, dreams, and ambitions.

Her writing serves as both refuge and voice. Jordan embraces challenges that lead to growth and self-discovery. As permanently inscribed on her spine, she lives by the words to “Leave A Mark They Can’t Erase.”
