Upon receiving this book, I was intrigued when looking in the eyes of the muse on the cover. I thought to myself: “Let me read a couple pages,” as I was preoccupied with a few things on my agenda. Y’all, the book got a hold of me!! I knew I needed to tend to completing the tasks at hand, but I just couldn’t stop reading. The author has such a wonderful way with words. Taking such relatable ideas and scribing them in ways you wish you could have stated or written yourself. This is the voice of the people we never knew we had until we heard as we read. I am thankful.
